2007-11-24 Jaisalmer Safari

A one day camel safari from Jaisalmer through the Thar desert. I heard a lot about these safaris and a friend described as one of the more memorable things to do in India. I'm not sure that I felt as strong about it, but it was fun. I felt quite sore riding the came after a while and wouldn't have wanted to do it for more than one day. The desert was quite cold at night and I would suggest a sleeping bag. The sunset was really nice.
