2009-08-08 Warrior Mountain Attempt

Day 2 camping at Aster Lake. We attempted to find the "less direct" route described by Alan Kane for Warrior Mountain and decided there was none; unless going up Cordonnier. We ended up on the west ridge of Warrior, facing the facetiously named Waka Nambe. We salvaged the day by going to the minor high point north of Warrior then down to the three tarns below Northover.
